Interior Conversion

This is probably the ultimate in Campervan specification both on the interior and the exterior!

Two heated ‘Recaro’ styled captain seats both with the ability to swivel finished in sumptuous Saddle Brown faux leather with a matching Saddle Brown retrimmed 112cm RIB bed/seat. The RIB bed, renowned for its quality has two three point seat belts, ISOFIX and height adjusting head restraints. Being the market leader the RIB is both comfortable to travel in as a passenger and to sleep on. Don’t take our word for it, try a ‘rock and roll’ bed and then try a RIB!

Within the rear of the Camper there is an Eberspacher diesel night heater, Dometic Vision two burner hob with electronic ignition and sink, Dometic NRX50 44 litre fridge and 4.4 litre freezer. Cappuccino coloured kitchen units contrast beautifully with the ivory carpet lining and the Cappuccino Vanshades Blinds fitted to all of the rear windows. To give a real feeling of luxury the worktop and table is made from real oak finished in food safe tung oil. The hob is supplied via a 4.5kg gas bottle correctly located in a compliant steel locker with drop vent. An onboard 10 litre water tank is also included which is simple to remove for ease of cleaning. Safety is of paramount importance, hence a carbon monoxide alarm is included along with independent Gas and Electric certification.

Interior lighting is serviced by six touch switched LED lights that can be turned from white to blue and individually switched or dimmed. In addition to this an LED strip is located above the cooking area mounted in the useful overhead locker. There is lots of storage located under the RIB bed, behind the bed and within the kitchen wardrobe area plus under the worktop flap. Tambour doors allow for easy access regardless of the bed position. There are two USB sockets for the all important phone charging, a solar panel monitor and two electric for when on hook up.

The 12v electric system is serviced by a good quality 110amp AGM leisure battery neatly fitted beneath the drivers seat along with a CTEK split charger for on the move charging, 200 watt ultra slim solar panel and an electric hook up located behind the front VW badge within the grille.

Exterior Conversion

The striking looks continue on the exterior of the vehicle with a top of the range Skyline Aurora elevating pop top roof with the optional Moonrock coloured scenic canvas, bi-fold bed and cover panel fitted. The 200 watt slimline panel goes almost unnoticed as it blends within the gloss black roof. A five year warranty is included via Skyline for the roof. The gloss black theme continues with the rear tailgate spoiler, front grille and lower grille plus the lower chin spoiler. Gloss black side bars give the appearance of a more sleek look without impacting ground clearance. The Camper is lowered by 45mm with the standard springs being changed for a set of Eibach ones. These improve the road handling, ride quality, remove the large gap between the wheel and wheel arch plus help to reduce the overall height allowing entrance to 2.1m car parks.

To complement the interior of the vehicle the alloy wheels have been custom painted in gloss bronze and are the van rated 20″ Inovit Frixion model. Shod with 255/40/20 XL Uniroyal Rainsport 5 tyres these will ensure the best available fuel consumption, the best ride and great stopping power. The exterior of the vehicle remains as sleek as a normal van with no unsightly hook up points cut into the side and an elegant flush fitting side window.

Being fitted with a tailgate allows for shelter during a rain shower, gives a more hatchback look and better rear view vision from the drivers seat. This one also benefits the addition of a heated rear screen and rear wash and wipe.

The Highline model also has many car like features including heated front windscreen, adaptive cruise control, Apple/Android car play, electrically heated, adjustable and folding door mirrors, remote central door locking, front and rear parking sensors, air-conditioning, automatic lights, automatic lights plus lots more. We doubt that we’ll be able to replicate this one as late registered, low mileage T6.1’s with the 150PS engine and 7 speed DSG gearbox are almost unobtainable.

Sold with the balance of the manufactures warranty and AA cover until 30th September 2027 plus a 12 month conversion warranty.
